We laughed, we cried, we played!
Minute to Win It! Oh so fun! I made some first grade modifications and it went off without a hitch! If you don't have it just click {Here} (it's a freebie)
Game 1 Go Fishing.
I did this one 2 at a time. They had to fan their tissue paper fish under the little brown table. It was a fish trap in case you were wondering. Sorry they are blurry...moving too quickly for my iphone!
Game 2 There she blows.
You have to blow the cup off the other side of table only using a straw.
(modification is lean on the table if needed :) )
Game 3 Nose Diving
Transfer cotton balls from one plate to another with your nose (and some Vaseline!)
Game 4 Bean There Done That
Students suck a bean to the end of a straw and run it to another plate.
This was hard for some because they had to suck in for a longer time than they ever had but they all got at least one bean transferred after figuring out how to not breathe out.
Game 5 Scrambled Breakfast
Put together a cereal box puzzle.
I paired them up and didn't time them. Everyone was able to figure it out with a partner.
Game 6 Noodling Around
You are supposed to get 3 noodles on a spaghetti stick with NO HANDS.
modification- break the long spaghetti in half and have them get only 2 noodles. I modeled how hard it was so they didn't give up right away. I didn't time this one. It's tough!
Game 7 Face the Cookie
You have to get a cookie (nilla wafer) from your forehead to your mouth with only scrunching your facial muscles. HILARIOUS! Very tough...few did it. But I modeled it and they died laughing. My cookie did NOT make it into my mouth.
And FINALLY.......We Rolled out the
